WILLOUGHBY, Ohio — A Willoughby diner that’s been serving up its breakfast and lunch menu for years had to get creative as it joined thousands of other restaurants statewide that were ordered to cease dining-in operations earlier in March.
This week, owners Teena and husband Jason Lallo went old-school and came up with a plan to still take orders with a carhop service.
Orders were filled and taken to vehicles on trays that hook onto the lowered windows.
“We needed to do something because our customers are our life,” said Teena.
