For fans of both the Indians and Pokemon, two of your favorite things will merge this Friday.

The Cleveland Indians are getting in on the Pokemon Go action, giving fans the opportunity to catch 'em all at Progressive Field.

Wednesday the Indians announced that before Friday's game versus the Los Angeles Angels on August 12, the stadium would be open for fans to increase their index.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. and they will be dropping lures - things used to bring more Pokemon to the area in the game - in the Right Field District area.

The official hashtag of the event is #PokeTribe and they are encouraging fans to share anything they catch on social media.
