A group of students from Stepstone Academy picked up the glue and yarn to create their own versions of baseball heads.

Kelly Krupa, the principal of Stepstone Academy, wanted to combine literacy with baseball.
"We have a heavy focus on literacy this year at this school. We started a major league reading program to encourage the children to read but for their parents to read with them as well."
The students were selected based on the academy's five school values. The top 25 children were chosen for their value of fortitude.
