Former Cleveland Cavaliers Center/Power Forward Anderson Varejao penned a letter to the team's fans and posted it to Facebook on Friday.
It was announced on Thursday that Varejao was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers and the Cavs acquired Channing Frye from the Orlando Magic.
In his letter to fans, Varejao called Cleveland a 'special place' and said the city's fans are 'simply the best.'
