After the Cleveland Cavaliers' Game 7 victory over the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, Cavs forward Richard Jefferson said he was going to retire.
Shortly after, Jefferson began to hedge, and tonight Richard Jefferson confirmed to NewsChannel5 he has signed a new two year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Jefferson, 36, averaged just 5.5 points per game in his first season with the Cavs, but played a key role in the Finals and started Game 3 in place of the injured Kevin Love.
