The Cleveland Cavaliers signed guard José Calderón, the team announced Monday.
Calderón split last season between the Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks, averaging 3.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 13.1 minutes over 14 games, 13 of which he started in. He also played in six playoff contests.
Calderón is entering his 13th season and has a career average of 9.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 3.9 assist-to-turnover ratio in 28 minutes over 789 games, 559 of which he started in.
The 6-3 guard has previously played for the Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks, Lakers and Hawks.
