Rose has struggled with knee injuries since his 2010-2011 season. He tore his ACL in his left knee during the first round of the 2012 NBA Playoffs and required knee surgery.
In 2013, Rose then injured his right meniscus and missed the remainder of the season with the Chicago Bulls. In 2016, he was traded to the New York Knicks.
