Cleveland Browns Pro Bowl tackle Joe Thomas has sustained a tear in his left triceps, an MRI confirmed Monday.
Thomas was hurt during Sunday's overtime loss to Tennessee.
He is expected to miss the remainder of the season, the Browns said.
Thomas expressed his appreciation for the support from fans on Twitter and said he will be undergoing surgery soon.
The Geneva convention on torture (confinement, stress positions) was just violated when they wedged me into that MRI tube for 2 hrs. Yikes!
