Cavs center Andrew Bogut is out for the remainder of the season due to a fractured left tibia

Cavalier's center Andrew Bogut will be out for the remainder of the season and playoffs.

Bogut underwent additional imaging and evaluation at the Cleveland Clinic on Tuesday. His tibia has been set and is undergoing non-surgical treatment.

Bogut has an immediate recovery plan but will need an extended recovery time. He is expected to make a full recovery in time for the training camp for the 2017-2018 season.

J.R. Smith has been cleared to resume all practice activities and is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Detroit Pistons.

Kyle Korver is also out of Thursday's game due to soreness in his left foot.

The Cavaliers take on the Detroit Pistons in Detroit at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
