The Cleveland Browns have signed defensive back Eric Patterson after his tryout in rookie minicamp over the weekend, the team announced Monday.

Now the Browns' roster has reached its maximum of 90 players.

The 5 foot 9, 200 pound player is entering his second NFL season out of Ball State, according to the Browns. He was originally signed by New England as an un-drafted free agent in 2015. Then he appeared in two games with the Colts and one with the Rams.

Patterson also spent nine weeks on the Rams' practice squad as well as one week on the Colts' practice squad.

The Brown's newest teammate hails from Tampa, Florida, where he graduated from H.B. Plant High School.
