Ohio State University has the best college football program of all time.
That's according to a new poll by the Associated Press.
No, it wasn't a vote by media members. This time, it was a ranking based on stats.
To determine an all-time Top 100 for the first time, the AP counted poll appearances (one point) to mark consistency, No. 1 rankings (2 points) to acknowledge elite programs and gave a bonus for championships won (10 points).
Here's the conclusion they came to: Ohio State University has the best college football program of all time followed by Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Alabama and Southern California.
