Report: Schiano out at OSU, Mattison and Hafley in

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State is parting ways with defensive coordinator Greg Schiano, according to ESPN.

The Buckeyes will be replacing Schiano with former Michigan defensive line coach Greg Mattison and former San Fransico 49ers assistant Jeff Hafley.

New head coach Ryan Day worked with Hafley for one season for the 49ers.

Day worked with Mattison on Urban Meyer’s staff at Florida.

Schiano was the defensive coordinator for three seasons under Meyer.
