The Cleveland Monsters, fresh off a AHL Calder Cup Championship victory, will look to continue their roll into the 2016-2017 season.
The "Championship Celebration Weekend" kicks off the team's 10th Anniversary Season. The Monsters will play host to the Rockford IceHogs in back-to-back games on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 15 at 5 p.m.

Friday night home games will again be dubbed "Blue Jacket Nights," with the team donning Blue Jackets-themed jerseys for the games. Friday home games will also be "1-2-3 Fridays," where fans can purchase $1 sodas, $2 hotdogs and $3 draft beer specials.
Other Monsters' promotions are:
- "College ID Night" for home games on weekdays. Tickets will be $6 with a valid college ID. There are 15 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night home games this season.
- Every Friday is "Blue Jackets Night" and "1-2-3 Fridays." There are 12 Friday night games this season.
- Every Saturday and Sunday matinee game: The first 1,000 kids through the gates for "KIDS DAY GAMES!" will recieve a free day pass to Castaway Bay. There are six "Kids Day Games" this season.
Single game tickets for the season will go on sale Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through the Monsters website.
