Buffalo Bills defensive tackle and former Ohio State football player Adolphus Washington was arrested in Cincinnati on Sunday on weapons charges, according to News 5's sister station in Buffalo.
The Sharonville Police Department says Washington reached for and showed a gun to police while officers were clearing out a local water park.
Washington was later released.
This is not the first time Washington has been arrested. According to 7 Eyewitness News in Buffalo, he attempted to solicit a prostitute in a Columbus hotel room back in December 2015. The so-called prostitute was actually an undercover officer, the ABC affiliate says, and Washington was arrested, charged and plead guilty. However, the charges were later dropped after Washington took a course to understand how prostitutes are victimized.
