It's two for Marlee Profitt. Highland High Marlee Profitt is a four-year varsity basketball player for the Hornets. Her versatility on the court allows her to play any position, which makes it tough for her opponents.
"She's one of the hardest workers out there. When we ask her to do different things, it's not a question of why. She is putting down her head and going to do the best she can for the team," said head coach Mike Moser.
Marlee is versatile off the basketball court, too. She is also on the volleyball team, student council, National Honor Society and is taking four AP classes with a 4.1 GPA.
"I like to keep my grades up to par. Keep them up above a 4.0 that way when I'm older I will get a good job and get into other programs that will help me in my future," said Marlee.
Marlee will continue her basketball career next year at Valparaiso University to study biomedical engineering.
