St. Ignatius senior lineman Joe Gibbons excels in the classroom and on the athletic field. Academically, he's been awarded honors each year of high school. He currently has a 3.6 GPA.
On the field, he earned a starting role during his junior season. But he doesn't take all the credit for his accomplishments.
"I get a lot of support from my family, friends, coaches and teachers," he said
While he is achieved both in the classroom and on the football, he is most proud of the way in which his pursued both,
He explained, "The thing I am most proud of is showing up here every day and working hard."
