Gilmour Academy's Ani Fitzgerald received the McDonald's Student Athlete of the Week honors. Ani is a sophomore, who excels in the classroom and on the ice. She is a hockey player for Gilmour Academy.
"My strengths I have as a hockey player are I am competitive. I try to be a leader on the ice. I like to finish with the puck," Ani explained.
She added, "I hope my peers can learn that all it takes is hard work and if someone like me can do it, than they can definitely do it, too."
