Mentor native and new Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky was greeted with some boos during his first public appearance in Chicago.
Trubisky attended Friday night's Game 6 of the NBA playoffs between the Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics.

According to ESPN.com's Jeff Dickerson, some Bears fans at the game may have been disappointed with the team's decision to go for Trubisky.
"The Bears unexpectedly traded up to select Trubisky second overall in the NFL draft on Thursday night. The pick received a fair share of criticism from Bears fans, because the former North Carolina quarterback started only 13 games in college and is not expected to be ready to start in 2017."
ESPN NBA analyst Michael Wilbon said they were cheers, too. And Trubisky probably wasn't the primary target of Bears fans' frustrations.

"If they want to boo anybody, it's Ryan Pace, the general manager for trading three other picks...to make that deal, to draft Trubisky," Wilbon said.
