SANDUSKY, Ohio — The world-famous, award-winning amusement park Cedar Point is open for the 2019 season and as summer approaches, you might find yourself planning a trip to Sandusky.

Whether you’re traveling from another state or country, a first-time guest or just a regular at the park, there are a few things you should know before heading to Cedar Point.

New Attractions:

Forbidden Frontier on Adventure Island: A new section at Cedar Point, the Forbidden Frontier is a unique new experience for park-goers.

Guests turn into adventurers as they trek across Snake River Swamp in a raft, set off water smokescreens and explore a marooned fishing boat. After conquering the waters, adventurers can head to the town to check out the town, have their fortunes told, search for treasure and immerse themselves in the story of Adventure Island.

Forbidden Frontier is full of challenges, group competitions and socialization that all help determine the living story of Adventure Island.
