It’s the holiday season which means it's time to break out the classic Christmas movies. If you ever wondered which holiday flick is the most popular in Ohio, look no further.
HowToWatch has created a map of each state’s favorite holiday movie by using Thrillist’s comprehensive “50 Best Christmas Movies of All Time”list and then running the titles through Google Trends to determine the most popular, or most-searched, Christmas film in each state.
It doesn’t come as a shock that the most popular Christmas movie in Ohio is “A Christmas Story.”
The top three holiday movies throughout the United States are “Elf”, “Scrooged”, and “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.”
Other not-so-expected movies that made the Christmas favorites list include “Die Hard” and “A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas.”
