The freezing rain caused rough conditions for morning commuters. The Ohio Department of Transportation reported a crash that closed a portion of I-76 eastbound in Akron Thursday.

I-76 eastbound between Tallmadge at Gilchrist Road, near mile marker 27 was closed for at least an hour, according to ODOT.
As of 8:30 a.m., I-76 eastbound has reopened, according to OHGO.
