BRUNSWICK, Ohio — Brunswick firefighters are warning residents and those in surrounding suburbs about significant traffic delays as crews move a transformer on Pearl Road Thursday morning.

The transformer was parked overnight Wednesday at Hollos Papercraft on Pearl Road in Brunswick.

FirstEnergy will be transporting the transformer from the parking lot at 9 a.m. during the morning commute.

Anyone who takes Pearl Road should expect significant delays.

The city of Strongsville is also warning residents about the transformer as it is scheduled to arrive in the city sometime between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m.

The transformer will make its way north on Pearl Road then to Royalton Road. It will turn right onto Royalton Road and go to West 130th Street.

Authorities ask that the public have patience as the transformer makes its way up north.
