All lanes of I-480 westbound are back open after a hazmat situation has had all lanes closed for most of the evening.
Cleveland police said 300 gallons of aluminum chloride spilled.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the hazmat spill was the result of an accident near the Pearl Road overpass.
All lanes of I-480 westbound are now open. Crews will continue to clean up the area throughout the night and expect all lanes to be back open in time for the morning rush.
