As heat and humidity build throughout Northeast Ohio, a few storms are possible today.

Meteorologist Trent Magill was tracking waterspouts over Lake Erie this afternoon:

The Power of 5 weather team says to expect a few midday light showers, with stronger storms expected to build around 3 p.m. These storms will bring heavy rain and gusty winds. Damage is possible, but this is not a widespread threat.

These storms could sneak up on you, so have a plan and keep an ear out for thunder.
