WESTLAKE, Ohio — A ride-share driver in Westlake helped police nab a suspected robber after she bragged to him about her exploit during a car ride.
On Wednesday at around 3 p.m. the driver called Westlake police to say he just had a fare he picked up at the Hyatt Hotel at Crocker Park who told him she just "robbed the sh** out of somebody."
A man at the hotel later reported that he was missing items from his room.
The driver told authorities that the woman had a bag with her containing various items as well as a laptop computer.
The driver gave police a description of the woman and her destination, and authorities located her and took her into custody on Friday.
Charges against the 22-year-old Lakewood woman are pending, authorities said.
