Bay Village Police Department responded to a domestic call on Wednesday night.
When officers arrived at 9:15 p.m. to the area of Canterbury and Wolf Roads, a man said he had a gun and threatened to hurt himself.
Police were able to get the man to surrender and exit the house peacefully.
He was taken into custody and taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
