The striking cover illustration for TIME magazine's May 29 issue seems to be making a statement about creeping Russian manipulation of the U.S. government and politics, blending St. Basil's with the White House.
The cover story is titled "Inside Russia's Social Media War on America."
An excerpt:
"For many Americans, Russian hacking remains a story about the 2016 election. But there is another story taking shape.
