NORTH LAWRENCE, Ohio — The Country Fest, the annual three-day country music festival at Clay's Park Resort in North Lawrence, has been postponed to 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the postponement of The Country Fest 2020 to June of 2021. We have tried everything possible to get approval from the State for our show to go on. Our team worked diligently on multiple safety plans but ultimately none were approved,” organizers announced on The Country Fest’s website.

The event was originally scheduled for June 18 to 20 but was later rescheduled to Aug. 6 through 8 and is now postponed until next year.

Dierks Bentley, Brett Eldredge and Luke Combs were the events original headlining shows.

Instructions for refunds or ticket transfers to next year’s show are expected to come out on July 6. Click here for more information.

“We are devastated, but we know we will gather again safely,” The Country Fest team said.
