Avon Lake police officer tests positive for COVID-19

AVON LAKE, Ohio — An Avon Lake police officer has tested positive for COVID-19, making it Lorain County’s fifth coronavirus case.

He is expected to make a full recovery.

The officer is at home in self-isolation and will be monitored by the Lorain County Health Department.
