BEACHWOOD, Ohio — Beachwood High School has canceled their orchestra trip to Italy in April.

School officials said the Board of Education is obligated to protect the health, safety and welfare of its students, staff and families.

They said parts of the trip included areas that are now listed by the CDC as Level 4, which is a "Do Not Travel" advisory.

"We are investigating how to obtain the largest refund possible for our families and are working with our tour company to do so," superintendent Bob Hardis said.
