MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Due to the overwhelming amount of people who showed up to receive a drive-thru test for coronavirus at the Landerbrook testing location in Mayfield Heights, University Hospitals is now only testing individuals who receive an order from one of its own doctors.
UH started drive-thru testing at that location on Monday and tested around 350 people for the virus.

Around 500 people are expected to be tested today. Of those people, 100 are employees at the University Hospitals that are deemed “high risk” due to symptoms or exposure.

To expedite the wait, UH doctors are now giving patients a 30-minute window appointment time.

The hospital is also working with Mayfield Heights police to clear up traffic issues near the testing location.
