CLEVELAND — A new report from the White House warns that Cleveland is one of 11 cities that needs to take "aggressive action" with their fight against COVID-19, according to the Center for Public Integrity.
The cities Dr. Deborah Birx identified during a private call were Baltimore, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, Pittsburgh and St. Louis.
Birx said Cleveland's increase in coronavirus cases is worrisome.
Cleveland reported 70 new cases Wednesday, bringing their total to 3,812.
Birx’s warning came a day after President Donald Trump resumed his televised coronavirus briefings.
