Gyms across the state of Ohio are scheduled to open Tuesday under Gov. Mike DeWine’s plan to reopen Ohio. Some gyms, however, are choosing to open early following a controversial court ruling in Lake County. More here.

The Cleveland Department of Public Health was notified of 27 new COVID-19 confirmed test results in residents of the city, bringing the total to 1,391 confirmed cases in Cleveland. There have been a total of 48 fatalities. The new confirmed cases include males and females whose ages range from under one year old to in their 80s.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said wearing masks while in public during the coronavirus pandemic should not be a political issue and that wearing masks is about people acting to protect others. More here.

For the third straight day, coronavirus cases in Ohio have dropped. More here.

Former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora tested positive for COVID-19 inside of Elkton Federal Correctional, according to his attorneys. More here.
