INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb says he is working with bordering states as they work to reopen the economy.

Holcomb says he has spoken with the governors of Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois, to talk about reopening plans.

"We are not acting alone in this, we are all in this together," Holcomb said during Wednesday's press conference.

Holcomb says officials are letting the data drive their decisions and looking at things like testing capabilities, number of cases, and the number of deaths due. Officials are also looking at how they are able to track people who have tested positive for COVID-19.

Reopening the economy will be a rolling reopening and officials are working with businesses to make sure they can safely conduct business, Holcomb said.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said during a Tuesday press conference he is speaking with Holcomb and DeWine about restrictions when they have been increased and when they will be decreased.

Beshear says he expects Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, working together "significantly" as we move forward.
