AKRON, Ohio — An Akron man has been found guilty of murder.
According to prosecutors, on June 13, 2018 Kennae Baker, 21, attempted to rob a couple at an Akron apartment.
Baker fired a shot at D'Andre Pete, 25, which struck a glass coffee table next to Pete's girlfriend.
As she ran out of the apartment, Baker shot Pete in the chest and killed him.
Baker was found guilty of aggravated murder, two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault.
He will be sentenced on June 27.
