AKRON, Ohio — Two teens have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 34-year-old man in an Akron home invasion last month.
A 17-year-old and 16-year-old were taken into custody in the 1100 block of Baker Street Southeast in Canton Tuesday, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
The shooting happened June 26 in the 900 block of Rowe Street in Akron. Authorities said 34-year-old Brandon Varner was shot and killed and three other individuals, including a 12-year-old boy, were injured in a home invasion.
News 5 is not releasing the names of the suspects since they are both underage.
