Akron home riddled with bullets, no injuries reported

AKRON, Ohio — The Akron Police Department is investigating after a home on the city’s south side was shot up overnight.

According to police, the shooting happened around midnight in the 1200 block of Dietz Avenue.

Officers found multiple shell casings outside the residence.

While there were people home when the shooting occurred, no one was injured, police said.

No further information has been released.
