Amber Alert canceled for Youngstown toddler allegedly taken by force by biological father

YOUNGSTOWN — A statewide Amber Alert that was issued by the Youngstown Police Department after a 23-year-old father allegedly took his 1-year-old daughter from her mother by force has been canceled.

According to Youngstown police, the child was dropped off at a family members home and is safe.

Authorities are still looking for the father, Kahlil Sheridan.

Sheridan is a Black male. He is 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs around 210 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, according to authorities.

He could be traveling in a dark blue 2008 Volvo S60 with OH plate number K418739.
