Another black bear sighting at another park in Northeast Ohio, this time in Trumbull County. The Cortland Police Department said it has received reports of a black bear running in the area of Willow Park, which is located east of the Mosquito Creek Lake.
When Cortland police posted the warning to residents, some of them asked if it was OK to shoot the bear.

The police reminded residents that the bears are protected in Ohio.
According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, wildlife officials do not relocate bears just because one is present in an area.
Most black bears range in size from 100 to 400 pounds with an average height of 5 to 6 feet tall.
