CLEVELAND — Firefighters from the Cleveland Fire Department responded to a two-story occupied house fire on the city’s East Side.
Firefighters responded to the 3600 block of Sykora Road Monday morning.
Firefighters were able to contain the flames and put the fire out in a short amount of time, according to a News 5 photographer at the scene.
Lt. Mike Norman of the Cleveland Fire Department said the fire caused an estimated $15,000 in damages.
One adult resident was displaced and is being assisted by the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
