CLEVELAND — Cleveland police responded to a fatal motorcycle crash on Cleveland’s East Side Wednesday morning.
Police and EMS responded at around 2:20 a.m. to the area of East 120th Street and Corlett Avenue where they found a 29-year-old man dead at the scene, according to EMS officials.
The Cleveland Police Department’s Accident Investigation Unit also responded to the crash site.
According to authorities, the motorcyclist was riding north on East 120th Street when a vehicle, possibly a silver SUV, ran a stop sign and hit the motorcycle. The vehicle then fled from the crash scene.
The matter remains under investigation.
