3 people injured after more than 50 shots fired into Cleveland home

CLEVELAND — Three people inside a home were injured Friday afternoon when an unknown person(s) fired dozens of shots into a home in Cleveland’s Lee-Miles neighborhood, according to a spokesperson for the Cleveland Division of Police.

Police responded to the 17400 block of Glendale Avenue for a report of shots fired.

Officers said more than 50 rounds were fired into an occupied home, resulting in 16 and 22-year-old being shot and an 18-year-old grazed with a bullet.

According to the report, there were no fatalities.

The victims were transported by EMS to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center for treatment.

The shooting remains under investigation.
