59-year-old man shot, killed in Cleveland's Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood Monday night

CLEVELAND — Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened late Monday on the city’s East Side.

The victim has been identified as Renae Issac, 59, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.

The shooting happened in the 2800 block of South Moreland Boulevard in the Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood.

Cleveland police said that officers responded to the scene around 10:50 p.m.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the man’s neighbor went to check on the man and found him unresponsive, police said.

Issac was pronounced dead at the scene by Cleveland EMS, according to police.

No arrests have been made.
