7-year-old old hurt in apparent accidental shooting in Cleveland

CLEVELAND — A 7-year-old boy was injured Tuesday afternoon in what appears to be an accidental shooting.

The incident happened around 4:20 p.m. in the 2300 block of East 59th Street.

According to Cleveland police, the boy was "likely shot in an accidental shooting by his brother." The gun was found inside the home. The brother's age wasn't released.

The 7-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.
