Can you identify this person who stole a gun out of a car in Cleveland?

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a person who stole a gun out of a car in the city's Slavic Village neighborhood.

According to the police report, the theft occurred on April 17 around 10 a.m. in the 6500 block of Baxter Avenue. The gun is a Smith and Wesson M&P Shield, .40-caliber semi-automatic pistol.

The theft was caught on a security camera.

Anyone with information regarding the individual’s identity is asked to call police Fourth District detectives at 216-623-5418.
