CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Animal Protective League is looking for a home for a few of their smallest residents, featuring two mice named Bliss and Buffy as the pets of the weekend.

The shelter said it still has many mice still available for adoption and that the furry critters make great pets.

New pet parents or those with a small space will have an easy time caring for pet mice as they don’t take up a lot of space and are quiet, clean and intelligent animals, the shelter said.

Bella and Buffy are the two featured mice but the shelter has many others to choose from as well.

Adoption fees for mice have been reduced to $2 to help them find loving homes.

Mice are social creatures and the shelter requires a minimum of two mice be adopted together, but those interested are able to adopt more.
