Cleveland police investigate city's 14th shooting, 4th homicide since July 4

CLEVELAND — A man is dead after a shooting in Cleveland’s Union-Miles neighborhood, according to Cleveland police.

Officers responded to the area near East 93rd Street and Miles Avenue around 9 p.m. where they found a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound, according to authorities.

EMS transported the man to University Hospitals where we later died from his injuries, police said.

Homicide investigators were notified and the incident remains under investigation, according to police.

This marks the 14th shooting and fourth homicide in Cleveland since July 4.
