Cleveland police looking for man wanted in copper theft at JR Heating & Cooling

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police need your help in identifying a man wanted for allegedly taking over $3,000 in copper tubing and aluminum coil from JR Heating & Cooling, located at 3805 Clark Avenue, in Cleveland in December.

Surveillance video shows a man on Dec. 7 at around 12:30 a.m. jumped the fence of the business and took copper tubing and aluminum coil worth $200.

A couple of days later on Dec. 10, the same male used a shopping cart to take aluminum copper coil worth $1,500 and then on Dec. 14, an additional aluminum copper coil worth $1,500 was taken, according to a report filed with police.

The vehicle involved in the theft was spotted several times parked across the street in an abandoned gas station. The vehicle is described as an older model white 4-door sedan missing the hubcaps.
