CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are asking for the public's help to identify an individual who is considered to be person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old man earlier this month.
The shooting happened on Jan. 2 just before midnight in the 15000 block of Lakeshore Boulevard.
The victim was identified as DeMarco Millsap, of Cleveland.
While en route to the hospital, the ambulance carrying Millsap was involved in a crash. Millsap was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Anyone who can help identify the individual or the vehicle involved is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 216-25-CRIME or Cleveland's homicide unit at 216-623-6206.
