Crimestoppers offering $5,000 reward for information about driver who struck Cleveland officer

CLEVELAND — Crimestoppers are offering a $5,000 rewards for anyone with information leading to the arrest of the person who hit a Cleveland police officer.

Police are looking for the driver of a 2019 white Jeep Compass.

The officer was struck around 4 a.m. in the area of West 9th Street and West Superior Avenue.

The officer suffered numerous injuries, including multiple broken ribs. The officer remains hospitalized, police said.
